U-Haul is seeking a General Manager in McKinney, TX to oversee a moving and storage center. You will hire and mentor staff, manage inventory and equipment, and conduct profit/loss analyses to keep the center profitable and efficient.

U-Haul is looking for a responsible, motivated and thoughtful person to manage one of our moving and storage centers. As General Manager you will be responsible for keeping your center profitable and efficient by hiring effective staff, keeping track of inventory and managing equipment. You will be solving problems as they arise. Managing a U-Haul moving and storage center is varied, fast-paced and rewarding work. Our motto is 'Hire Fast, Pay Fast.'.

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritating chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
