U-Haul is seeking a General Manager to lead a moving and storage center. You will drive profitability by supervising staff, controlling inventory, and ensuring top-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include fleet maintenance, P&L analyses, hiring/mentoring, budget management, and participation in continuous education through U-Haul University. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualificações

• 1–3 years of management experience in retail or service with financial results responsibility.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience managing high-volume retail with P&L accountability.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of management experience in retail or another service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction
• Organizational expertise
• Management proficiency in high-volume retail with profit and loss (P&L) accountability
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to work weekends and holidays

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritating chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
