Job summary

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles for equipment design.
• Experience with fluid dynamics, heat transfer and thermodynamics.
• 5+ years of professional experience preferred.
• Experience with data analysis and large data sets beneficial.
• Experience with polymer processing or web-handling equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define, lead, and execute product and process R&D programs.
• Design and conduct laboratory, experimental, and modeling studies, and translate results into actionable insights.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate testing across business functions.
• Communicate technical plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.

Research Investigators define, lead, and execute technical programs focused on product and process technology development, applying strong scientific and engineering fundamentals to solve complex challenges.
