Job summary

Haupt Racing Team, based at the Nürburgring, is looking for a skilled tyre technician to join our dynamic team in international GT racing. You will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of rims and tyres, ensuring they meet high standards. Your tasks will also include documentation and direct collaboration with the technical department.

The ideal candidate has a year of experience in motorsport and is willing to travel worldwide. We offer a performance-related pay, a good working atmosphere, and other benefits like gym discounts and a company pension scheme.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in motorsport as a tyre technician in the GT3 / LMP field.
• Willingness to travel within Europe and worldwide.
• Ability to maintain a high standard of work.
• Experience in loading and unloading transport vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of rims and tyres in cooperation with the technical department.
• Documentation and tracking of rims and tyres mileage.
• Maintenance of tools and equipment in the tyre department.
• Loading and unloading transport vehicles or containers.

What you bring to the table:

• Language skills English (at least) A2, German is an advantage
• At least 1 year of professional experience in motorsport as a tyre technician in the GT3 / LMP field
• Willingness to travel within Europe and worldwide
• Ability to work in a team, good communication skills and a high standard of work
• Preparation of rims and tyres in close cooperation with the technical department
• Documentation and mileage tracking of rims and tyres
• Maintenance of tools and equipment of the tyre department
• Loading and unloading transport vehicles or containers to ensure clean and safe storage of the cars, tyres, equipment and flight cases, in cooperation with the logistics department and other crew members
