Steel Energy Services LTD in Texas is seeking a Floor Hand to support a workover rig crew. You will operate hand and power tools, assist in rig-up/rig-down, lift and position equipment, and maintain a clean, safe worksite on oil and gas wells.
The role requires physical stamina, willingness to work long hours including weekends, and strict adherence to safety procedures. Training is provided to cover rig operations and standard procedures, with opportunities to grow within the field.

The Floor Hand under the direction of the Crew Operator performs activities and operates hand and power tools to perform maintenance and repairs on oil or gas wells and related equipment. This includes activities associated with the rig‑up and rig‑down of the workover rig, pulling levers or turning handles to extend hydraulic or screw‑type jacks to support and level the rig, its derrick and other machinery; picking up and/or laying down steel production rods, tubing and casing; disassembling and assembling various types of production equipment; the repair and maintenance of tools; and other tasks necessary to complete the contracted services. The Floor Hand uses specialized equipment to guide instruments, tubing, and casing downhole. He must keep his working environment clean and organized and is responsible for ensuring that all the equipment he uses is in proper working order. A Floor Hand’s duties also include cleaning, fueling, repairing, and maintaining workover rig equipment, greasing, changing oils and lubricants as needed on a regularly scheduled basis.
