Job summary

The Learning Experience - Waldorf is seeking a passionate preschool teacher to join our team in Waldorf, MD. You will create a safe, nurturing classroom that embraces our LEAP curriculum and fosters growth in young learners.

You will build strong family partnerships, track progress, and support children’s social, emotional, and academic development in a cooperative, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• One year of professional teaching experience preferred or six months required.
• Associate degree or higher in ECE or related field (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required).
• Familiarity with LEAP curriculum preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for preschool children.
• Implement the proprietary LEAP curriculum using engaging characters.
• Build relationships with families and colleagues to foster a collaborative learning atmosphere.
• Regularly communicate with parents about children's progress via apps and discussions.
