Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
• CDA preferred
• 1-2 years of experience with young children in a licensed setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using Wonder of Learning to engage each child
• Familiarity with potty training and supporting transitions
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom
• Family Communication: Maintain open, positive communication with families about progress
• Health and Safety: Supervise children to uphold health and safety standards
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training to enhance teaching skills
• Assessment and Documentation: Observe and document learning to inform activities
• Team Collaboration: Support assistants and other teachers as a team
• Behavior Guidance: Use positive guidance for social-emotional growth
