Teach For America is a national nonprofit offering a full-time, paid two-year teaching opportunity for college seniors, graduates, and early-career professionals. You’ll teach full-time in under-resourced public schools, build relationships with students and families, and develop leadership skills while supporting student learning.

Start date: Late Spring 2027. Compensation ranges $38,000–$67,000 per year plus benefits, with AmeriCorps benefits and a pathway to teaching certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field, strong leadership potential.
• Willingness to teach full-time in under-resourced public schools.
• Citizen, national, or eligible non-citizen status to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Teach two years full-time in an under-resourced public school.
• Build genuine relationships with students and families beyond lesson plans.
• Learn to navigate barriers affecting students inside and outside the classroom.
• Develop communication, problem-solving, and collaboration through daily classroom leadership.
• Collaborate with school community to remove obstacles and open doors for students.
