Job summary

Qualifications

• Candidates are pursuing a PhD in ocean, earth or atmospheric sciences, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, environmental policy or a related field.
• No more than 3 years postdoctoral experience total at the time of appointment.
• Preference is given to candidates bringing something unique to SIO.

Responsibilities

• Engage in independent, creative postdoctoral research aligned with SIO priorities.
• Collaborate with SIO mentors and existing programs to advance research.
• Prepare required documentation and secure mentor support letters as part of the application.
