WABC-TV, the flagship Disney/ABC-owned station in New York, offers a part-time Programming Intern role for Jan 2027–June 2027 in New York City. You will work with executive producers to support production for yearly specials and the Here and Now show, including field shoots, transcription, logging, and post-production elements.

Qualifications

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience supporting video production projects through filming, editing, or post-production.
Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience collaborating effectively with others to complete projects.
Interest in television, media, or entertainment through coursework or internships.

Responsibilities

Assist on field shoots, transcribing, and logging taped interviews.
Research/fact-check materials and capture post-production elements such as graphics and music.
Learn FCC regulations, music rights, and licensing related to programming.
Work with Executive Producers and Senior Producer to support the production of yearly specials and the Here and Now show.
