Job summary

Huntington Learning Center in Omaha seeks enthusiastic teachers to deliver enrichment and remedial instruction in reading, English and writing, as well as SAT and ACT prep at both Omaha locations.

The position offers several part-time teaching roles with a flexible weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday 9 am – 1 pm). Responsibilities

• Test Prep instructors must have a 4-year college degree.
• Graduate students, lawyers, writers, business majors, journalists, and teachers are encouraged to apply.
• Teaching is available in English, reading, and writing.
• 1:1 instruction for the ACT, SAT, and other exams.

Work Conditions

• We provide paid and continual training to help enhance your presentation skills and develop new ones, which can be used in your classrooms.
• Work with a variety of students on an individual basis and see a marked improvement in their skills, confidence, and motivation. There are no discipline problems, so you concentrate on academics.
• Since full-time staff conducts all parent discussions, you have no interaction with parents.
• With no homework to correct or lesson plans to develop, you just walk into the Center and begin teaching. Everything is ready for you.

Regular Schedule

Several part-time teaching positions and flexible schedules are available. Teaching hours are Saturday and Sunday 9 am – 1 pm.
