Hermann Forwarding in Dayton, NJ is seeking a reliable Turret Operator to move, store and retrieve materials using narrow-aisle turret trucks. You will support order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency within high-bay racking systems.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of turret truck experience, forklift certification (or ability to obtain), and a strong commitment to safety. This is a full-time on-site role requiring physical ability and adherence to OSHA standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating turret trucks, forklifts, or similar equipment.
• Certification to operate forklifts or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety and material handling practices.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally; work at heights up to 40 feet.

Mansioni

• Operate turret trucks to load, unload, move, store and retrieve materials.
• Perform put-away, replenishment, picking and staging of products.
• Navigate narrow aisles and elevated racking systems safely.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checklists.
• Maintain battery charge and ensure equipment is stored and cleaned.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies or safety concerns.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA regulations; support warehouse operations.
