Job summary

Accurate Personnel LLC is seeking a turret truck operator in Suffolk, VA to move, stack, and count merchandise in a refrigerated warehouse environment.

Shifts run 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, with pay ranging from $18 to $20 per hour and weekly pay. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, and a supportive work team.

Prior forklift/turret certification and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as turret truck operator or in warehouse roles.
• Valid forklift and turret truck certification.
• Experience in refrigerated or frozen warehouses preferred.
• Familiarity with WMS and RF scanning devices.
• Capable of lifts up to 50 lbs and cold storage work.

Responsibilities

• Operate turret trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
• Lift, move, and place products at various heights within warehouse racking.
• Conduct pre-operational safety checks on equipment.
• Pick, store, and organize inventory using WMS and RF scanners.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Ensure products are properly labeled and stored correctly.
• Follow safety, OSHA, and food safety regulations.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet daily productivity goals.

• Ranging from $18 – $20/hour, paid weekly

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate turret trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise


• Lift, move, and place products at various heights within warehouse racking systems


• Perform pre-operational safety checks on equipment


• Accurately pick, store, and organize inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners


• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories as required


• Ensure products are properly labeled and stored in correct locations


• Follow all safety, OSHA, and food safety regulations


• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to leadership immediately


• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization


• Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet daily productivity goals

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Proven experience as a turret truck operator or in a similar warehouse role


• Valid forklift and/or turret truck certification


• Experience working in refrigerated or frozen warehouse environments preferred


• Familiarity with WMS and RF scanning devices


• Ability to work in cold storage environments as low as -10°F


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties


• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills


• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends or holidays as needed
