Job summary

Bunzl is hiring a Turret Truck/Swing Reach Operator in Ladson, SC. The role involves receiving, picking, organizing, and moving inventory using turret trucks in very narrow aisles and at heights over 20 feet. You will use RF scanners and a warehouse management system to track locations and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience operating a Turret Truck/Swing Reach forklift.
• Prior experience in warehouse operation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilling orders.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job description

The Turret Truck/Swing Reach Operator is responsible for receiving, picking, organizing, and retrieving warehouse inventory. Safely operate turret trucks in very narrow aisles and at heights exceeding 20 feet to pick, load, and transport products from high-level racking systems. Use RF scanners and warehouse management system to accurately track and update inventory locations. Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and safety are essential.

Schedule: Monday - Friday
Start Time: 6am
Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products based on customer orders.
• Ensure all picked items are in good condition and match the order requirements (quantity, quality, etc.)
• Safely operate turret trucks in very narrow-aisle warehouse environments, maneuvering through tight spaces while accurately positioning pallets at various rack heights
• Meet all productivity standards in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient warehouse environment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and customer demands.
• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience operating a Turret Truck/Swing Reach forklift preferred.
• Prior experience in warehouse operation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilling orders.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
