Job summary

CDS is seeking an experienced Turret Operator/Warehouse Operator in South Brunswick, NJ. Starting at $19.00 per hour, with a regular Monday–Friday schedule from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM and overtime as needed.

You will operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and other warehouse equipment, load/unload, pick orders, and use RF scanners to track inventory while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months forklift operating experience required.
• 3–6 months warehouse experience required.
• Experience operating sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, Walkie-Rider, Hi-Lo, or Cherry Picker preferred.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and maintain required certification.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality; follow written and verbal instructions.
• RF scanner experience preferred; WMS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate warehouse equipment including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, Walkie-Riders, Hi-Los, and pallet jacks.
• Load and unload products safely and accurately.
• Move, stack, and stage products throughout the warehouse.
• Pick and prepare orders for shipment.
• Use RF scanners to track and move inventory.
• Receive product and verify quantities.
• Inspect products and pallets and report damage.
• Complete required equipment inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist with training new team members as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures and warehouse standards.
• Work overtime, including occasional weekends, when business needs require.

CDS is hiring an experienced Forklift Operator to join our South Brunswick warehouse team.

If you have forklift experience, take pride in working safely, and are looking for a consistent schedule with a growing team, we want to hear from you.

You'll play an important role in keeping our warehouse moving - loading and unloading product, picking orders, moving inventory, and making sure products get where they need to go safely and accurately.

What You'll Do

Safely operate warehouse equipment, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, Walkie-Riders, Hi-Los, and pallet jacks

What We're Looking For

At least 3-6 months of forklift operating experience

At least 3-6 months of warehouse experience

Experience operating one or more of the following: sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, Walkie-Rider, Hi-Lo, or Cherry Picker

Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and maintain required certification

Dependable attendance and punctuality

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Strong attention to safety and accuracy

RF scanner experience preferred

Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse position. Employees must be able to:

Sit or stand for extended periods

Walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and twist as required

Repeatedly lift, move, and handle cases weighing up to 50 pounds

Safely perform the physical tasks associated with warehouse and forklift operations
