Responsibilities

• Safely operate turret truck (VNA) to pick, stage, put away, and retrieve pallets.
• Load, unload, and transfer incoming and outgoing freight safely without damage.
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections and report faults.
• Assist with cross-trained warehousing equipment (e.g., reach trucks, sit-down forklifts).
• Use RF scanners and WMS to track movements, confirm locations, and record picks.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and location updates to maintain accuracy.

Job description

Are you a precision-driven operator who feels right at home navigating high-bay aisles and reaching tall heights? We’re looking for a skilled Turret Truck Forklift Operator to join our client's fast-paced distribution team. In this role, you won't just move pallets—you’ll manage critical inventory flow within our Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) system, ensuring accuracy, speed, and safety at every turn.

Salary: $35,879 - $35,880 per year.

Shift: First.

Work hours: 5 AM - 2 PM.

Education: High School.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate aturret truck (VNA) to pick, stage, put away, and retrieve pallets.
• Load, unload, and transfer incoming and outgoing freight safely without damaging product, racking, or equipment.
• Perform daily pre-operational equipment inspections (battery, controls, hydraulics, safety features) and report any maintenance needs or faults immediately.
• Assist with cross-functional warehouse equipment as cross-trained (e.g., reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks).
• Utilize RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, confirm put-away locations, and record picked items accurately.
• Perform routine cycle counts, stock consolidations, and location updates to maintain high inventory accuracy.
• Inspect incoming freight for damage, discrepancies, or incorrect counts and elevate issues to warehouse leadership.
