Job summary

Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint is seeking a Fast Food Attendant (FFA) in the Florida Turnpike area near Okeechobee. You will greet customers, take orders, and assist in kitchen and service areas, including cooking prep and cash handling.

The position is non-exempt with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour and eligible for tips. Strong guest service and cash handling skills are desired, along with the ability to stand long hours and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Cashier experience in a food and beverage environment highly desirable.
• Excellent guest service abilities while working directly with the public.
• Basic mathematics skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly.
• Able to develop cooperative working relationships with others.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and takes food orders; provides information about menus; looks for opportunities to up-sell products.
• Strives to meet CORE model to serve guests: eye contact, smiles, speak enthusiastically, stays connected.
• Cooks meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products and prepares/portions food prior to cooking.
• Prepares meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other equipment.
• Operates cash register and processes payments, gives change, and follows cash handling policies.
• Cleans and stocks work area.
• Assists with kitchen-related functions including product assembly and food prep.
