Bell Textron Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an entry-level Turning Mach Opr (Machinist Intern) for the 1st shift. The role involves setting up and operating turning machines to produce experimental, tooling and production parts.

You will select speeds and feeds, devise tooling, perform layouts, and work with a range of materials. The position is limited to two years and requires up to one year of prior experience or equivalent technical education; ITAR/EAR and security requirements apply.

Description

++WORK PERFORMED:++

Sets up and operates various turning machines performing a wide range of machining operations on experimental, tooling and production parts. Performs routine work on all types of materials. May perform any operation within the capability of the machine. Selects speeds and feeds, devises tooling and performs layout for varying conditions and materials using a variety of attachments. Will not be retained in this position longer than two (2) years.

++TOOLS & EQUIPMENT USED:++

Various conventional, NC and CNC turning machines and attachments, machinists' hand

Tools and a variety of precision measuring instruments.

Qualifications

++EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENT:++

One (1) year performing the work above, or the equivalent technical education.
