Job summary

HVMG - Hospitality Ventures Management Group in Knoxville, TN, is seeking a Turndown Attendant to prepare guest rooms to high standards, including beds, amenities, and turn-down service, with evening shifts and a welcoming atmosphere. You will report to the Executive Housekeeper, work 2PM to 10PM/11PM, and have opportunities for career progression within the hospitality group.

Eligibility to work in the United States is required, with a flexible schedule.

Job description

As a Turndown Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to HVMG’s high standards of cleanliness and comfort. Your duties include making beds, replenishing amenities, and ensuring a welcoming environment for each guest. This role reports to the Executive Housekeeper.

This associate will prepare all occupied room with turn down services during the evening. They will also run and housekeeping supplies as they are called for throughout the night.

Schedule: 2PM to 10PM/11PM

Key Responsibilities

• You will be the key to ensuring our hotel guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay.
• Your daily tasks will include making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining cleanliness in guest rooms.
• You will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
• A career as a Turndown Attendant can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as housekeeping supervisor, executive housekeeper, or even a managerial position in hotel operations.

• Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
