Headstart Hatching in Willmar, MN seeks a diligent Service Room Worker to carry out turkey poult processing and sorting tasks, including toe removal and beak shortening, using approved methods. You will support hatchery operations and ensure efficiency and accuracy in daily workflows.

The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and willingness to work flexible daytime hours. Prior hatchery experience is preferred, with bilingual Spanish/English helpful for team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform toe removal and beak shortening procedures on turkey poults using approved methods and equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading poults to designated hatchery areas.
• Operate automated processing and sorting equipment, including MPSP and PSP machines, and conveyor belts.
• Report abnormalities or issues to management promptly.
• Assist with other hatchery-related tasks as needed.
