Job summary

A luxury boutique hotel in Virginia is seeking a Spray Technician to manage all spray programs for turf and ornamentals. This full-time position requires a high school diploma and relevant experience. Candidates must be able to accurately apply chemicals following safety protocols and maintain records for compliance. The role involves physical work in varying conditions, and candidates must hold or obtain pesticide applicator certification and first-aid training. Flexible shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Current state certification or licensing as pesticide applicator.
• American Red-Cross first-aid training required.
• Completion of OSHA Hazard Communication training.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all spray programs pertaining to turf and ornamentals.
• Keep chemical room neat, clean, and locked.
• Accurate record keeping for compliance with regulations.

Ability to recognize healthy and unhealthy turf

Mathematical calibrations

Strong customer relations skills

Ability to work flexible shifts

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

1-3 years of Golf Course experience
