Job summary

Air National Guard Units seeks an Aircraft Engine Mechanic (Title 32) to maintain, troubleshoot, remove and repair turboprop engines, propellers, and propulsion equipment. You will certify, test and perform operational checks per technical specs, using inspection data to determine required maintenance.

The role requires experience with engine assemblies, power trains, and the ability to diagnose issues from orders and historical records. National Guard duties and Title 32 regulations apply.

Qualifications

• General experience: assembly/disassembly operations and modifications to aircraft engines and related components per technical specifications.
• Specialized experience: maintenance overhaul, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of aircraft engines and power trains for fixed/rotary wing aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, remove, repair, install, certify, test and perform operational checks on turboprop engines, propellers and propulsion system components.
• Determine maintenance needs from work orders, inspection reports and diagnostics.
