Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a production-oriented technician to robustly assemble and disassemble gas turbine engines and sub-assemblies in a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

You will work from engineering drawings and standard work, coordinate with engineering, and maintain accurate records while supporting continuous improvement efforts. This role requires attention to safety, quality, and teamwork in a high-volume shop.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a manufacturing/shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble Solar’s Taurus 70, Mars, and Titan 130 engines and related components per safety and quality standards.
• Follow standard work instructions, drawings, and shop practices.
• Recognize when Engineering support is required to resolve issues.
• Maintain training binders and records; ensure proper documentation per QMS.
• Handle materials and use precision measuring tools for inspections.
• Collaborate with team members and Engineering to troubleshoot problems.
