Job summary

EthosEnergy is seeking a 1st shift Turbine Technician to join our Engine Repair Operations team in Houston, TX. You will support production on gas turbine generators, work with advanced turbine technology, and report to the Turbine Supervisor.

Candidates should have 1–3 years in a technical environment and a basic understanding of engineering principles. The role requires flexibility for occasional nights and weekends, with duties including disassembly, inspection, repair, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and assemble gas turbine generators and related equipment, including calculating required dimensions and clearances.
• Perform repairs and overhauls in line with production supervisor, project management, and customer requirements.
• Complete all component repair and overhaul records thoroughly and on time.
• Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, repair schemes, service bulletins, and other relevant technical documentation.
• Use appropriate measuring equipment, including micrometers, to perform required calculations.
• Comply with EthosEnergy and customer quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) systems, procedures, and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Immediately report all accidents, incidents, near misses, and hazards to the HSE Department and complete required paperwork within 24 hours.
• Help foster a team culture that supports a safe workplace, a healthy working environment, sustainability, and the responsibility to intervene when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Capability to lift 35lbs.
• Ability to squat and stand for long periods of time.

EthosEnergy is growing, and we’re looking for a 1st shift Turbine Technician to join our Engine Repair Operations (ERO) team within our Light Turbines business unit in Houston, TX. In this hands-on role, you’ll support our production team while working with advanced turbine technology and experienced industry professionals. Reporting directly to the Turbine Supervisor, you’ll play an important part in delivering high-quality repair and service solutions to our customers. Qualified candidates must have 1–3 years of experience in a technical or mechanical environment with a basic understanding of engineering principles (a plus). Seeking a team player who is flexible and ready to support business needs, including occasional nights and weekends.

• One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding basic engineering principles, a plus.
• Certificate from technical school a plus.
• Further educational qualification in a mechanical/engineering discipline is a plus
