Job summary

DuHadaway Tool and Die Shop is seeking a QA Inspector to ensure turbine components meet engineering drawings, BOMs, and customer specs. You will perform first-article inspections using height gauges, micrometers, CMM, and other precision tools, documenting results and flagging nonconformances.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in quality inspection, strong GD&T knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with Production to resolve issues while maintaining schedules. ISO 9001 background preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years as a quality inspector in machining/manufacturing.
• Ability to read complex drawings, BOMs, and customer specs.
• Strong math, mechanical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license; 18+; HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Inspect turbine components, fabricated parts, and in-process work per drawings, BOMs, and specs.
• Perform first-article and in-process inspections on the shop floor.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and specifications; document results.
• Prepare inspection reports and communicate nonconformances to Production.
• Verify equipment calibration and maintain safe, organized workspace.
• Collaborate with Production to resolve quality issues and keep schedules.
