Job summary

Crystal Mountain is seeking energetic Tune & Repair Technicians for seasonal work. The role focuses on high-quality ski and snowboard tuning, repair, and maintenance while delivering excellent guest service.

You will learn and perform tuning, binding inspections, equipment maintenance, and shop-wide duties in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate has prior tuning experience, strong teamwork, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform ski and snowboard tuning including waxing, edging, base repair, stone grinding, and general maintenance.
• Mount, adjust, and repair equipment per manufacturer specifications and department standards.
• Inspect bindings and perform adjustments following safety practices.
• Maintain and service rental and demo fleets, including seasonal projects.
• Diagnose equipment issues and recommend repair solutions.
• Advise guests on service options based on ability, conditions, and equipment needs.
• Process guest service transactions and document work.
• Maintain inventory of parts and keep shop clean and safe.
• Operate tuning machines and shop tools safely after training.

The Tune & Repair Technician is responsible for providing high-quality ski and snowboard tuning, repair, and maintenance services while delivering exceptional customer service.This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Technicians will learn and perform all aspects of ski and snowboard tuning, repair, binding adjustments, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting while following department and resort safety standards.The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, enjoys working with snow sports equipment, and is passionate about helping guests have the best possible experience on the mountain. Team members are expected to develop strong product knowledge, provide equipment recommendations, assist with retail sales, and maintain a clean, organized, and professional workshop environment.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES*** Perform ski and snowboard tuning services including waxing, edging, base repair, stone grinding, and general maintenance.* Mount, adjust, and repair ski and snowboard equipment according to manufacturer specifications and department standards.* Perform binding inspections and adjustments while following industry safety practices and certification requirements.* Maintain and service rental and demo fleets to ensure equipment is safe, functional, and guest-ready.
