Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, seeks a Tumbler Operator for its Texas plant. You will operate plant machinery, follow safety policies, and help produce high-quality concrete products.

The role emphasizes precision, independence, and adherence to procedures in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates read and interpret technical instructions, perform routine maintenance, and maintain clean, organized work areas while meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to work independently and take direction as needed.
• Perform basic arithmetic for measurements and conversions.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
• Must stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Observe dryer operation and perform adjustments to maintain set parameters.
• Complete labor tasks as assigned.

Job Summary

Operates plant machinery & equipment as directed while adhering to all rules and regulations mandated by safety policies and procedures to produce a superior product.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, or one tosix months of related experience in trades specific to job requirements, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals
• Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
• Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work assignments
• While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs
