Qualifications

• Tufting experience required.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask.
• Must have normal color vision or above average shade discernment.
• Interface White Belt and 6S Training preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills; familiar with Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and AS/400.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate personnel activities for the RCA Tufting operation and assign duties.
• Plan and schedule the flow of products for each Tufter.
• Coordinate orders through the RCA facility with planning teams.
• Schedule logistics of all raw materials including yarn delivery to/from RCA; ensure on-time delivery.
• Work with Supervisors to achieve departmental goals and monitor quality of carpet.
• Ensure raw materials are supplied to machines as needed.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment and perform 6S audits.
• Provide direction to RCA associates and understand Supervisors' duties.
• Operate all Tufting machine types, including setup and weight checks.
• Comply with safety and environmental regulations; follow ISO procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned; occasional overtime may be required.
