Job summary

Zeus Company Inc. is seeking a Tie Layer Operator to perform manufacturing, coating, and processing of tubing. The role involves setting up and monitoring machines, applying tie layer coatings, and placing tubing in equipment to ensure quality results.

The candidate will inspect tubing visually and dimensionally, document process information, and maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with regulations. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisors or managers as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and adapt to different situations.
• Ability to read job instructions.
• Repetitive overhead lifting of lightweight tubing.
• The ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.
• Ability to perform inspection functions such as visual inspection to detect cosmetic defects and color differentiation of products.
• Standing, stooping or sitting for sustained periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor machines & equipment.
• Apply tie layer coating to tubing.
• Place tubing in equipment.
• Check tubing visually and dimensionally.
• Document process information on prescribed worksheets.
• Must maintain a clean, neat work area and observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
