Qualifications

• Must understand work orders and follow standard procedures.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain focus.
• Laser experience, especially Tube Laser, is preferred.
• Ability to follow MEC safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates dedication to achieving results and maintains high energy.
• Knowledge of tubular steel manufacturing and fabrication processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use hard gages and calipers to confirm part quality.
• Operate forklift and crane to load material into machine.
• Operate and troubleshoot machine parameters to ensure premium part quality.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and typically set up multiple jobs per day.
• Use prints and work instructions to determine cutting specifications.
