Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Tube Bender to set up, program, and operate manual, hydraulic, or CNC tube bending machines to shape metal tubing, rods, and bars to exact specifications.

You will read drawings, inspect parts with calipers, micrometers and a CMM, and maintain tooling and dies while ensuring safety and efficiency. 2–5 years of hands-on metal forming or CNC machining experience in manufacturing or aerospace required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and run manual, hydraulic, or CNC tube bending machines.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine dimensions, bend angles, and tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, height gauges, or a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
• Install dies, punches, and mandrels; perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Flare, deburr, trim, or cut metal components prior to welding or final assembly.
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on metal forming or CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Stand for long periods, lift materials (typically up to 25–50 lbs).

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up, program, and run manual, hydraulic, or CNC (Computer Numerical Control) tube bending machines.

• Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine dimensions, bend angles, and tolerances.

• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, height gauges, or a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).

• Tooling & Maintenance: Install dies, punches, and mandrels; perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.

• Material Preparation: Flare, deburr, trim, or cut metal components prior to welding or final assembly.

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands‑on metal forming or CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.

• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and applied trigonometry/math.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, perform physical bending movements, and lift materials (typically up to 25–50 lbs)
