Beacon Group is seeking an Employment Specialist to develop, monitor, and maintain career opportunities for clients, including job skills training and placement within a non-profit setting. The role focuses on career development, retention, and advancement services for individuals with disabilities.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or an appropriate combination of degrees and experience in social work, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.

Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, Beacon serves over 2,000 people with disabilities each year. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. The responsibilities of the Employment Specialist are to develop, implement, monitor and maintain career opportunities for clients including job skills training, career development/placement career retention and advancement services. Case management or knowledge of SMI or GMHSU services preferred. Knowledge of AHCCCS funding, Vocational Rehab services and integrated employment.
Monday-Friday.
