Job summary

Cudd Energy Services is looking for an inspector responsible for ensuring that products conform to specifications, including dimensional and chemical properties. This role involves performing inspections on incoming products and adhering to company and industry safety policies.

Experience in using Precision Measuring Instruments, knowledge of ASTM standards, and the ability to read engineering drawings are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in the use of Precision Measuring Instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Basic knowledge of geometric dimensional tolerance on technical drawings.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and outgoing products to ensure specifications are met.
• Adhere to RPC and Thru Tubing Solutions policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain training compliance percentage with goal of 100%.

Skills

Experience with Precision Measuring Instruments

Responsibilities

Responsible for, but not limited to, performing the inspection of incoming and outgoing products to ensure that the dimensional, chemical and physical properties of each item conform to the machining drawings and designs, as well as the material specifications relevant to each item.

Adhere to RPC and Thru Tubing Solutions policies and procedures.

Adhere to both industry and company safety policies.

Maintain a percentage of 90% of classroom and online training with goal of 100%.

Perform inspection of incoming products, ensuring proper paperwork is received and parts conform to specifications, engineering and purchase order prior to accepting shipment.

Requires occasional heavy lifting. Tasks may vary based on products produced for inspection.

Perform other assignments and/or duties as required.

Qualifications

Experience in the use of Precision Measuring Instruments such as calipers, micrometers, durometers, material hardness testers, surface finish comparators, and thread gauges.

Uses basic knowledge of geometric dimensional tolerance as found on technical drawings such as concentricity and perpendicularity.

Interprets and reads engineering drawings, company and customer specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.

Knowledge of ASTM, API, NACE, and ANSI standards.
