Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and sustain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments. You will integrate security controls into DevOps workflows to enable continuous compliance and monitoring, and partner with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams for secure platform migrations and hardened configurations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps or related engineering disciplines.
• Demonstrated RMF, NIST 800-53, and STIG implementation experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience integrating security tools into pipelines (e.g., vulnerability scanning, secrets management).
• Understanding of hybrid environments (VMware + AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (RMF, NIST 800-53, STIGs) and SIEM/EDR migrations.
• Knowledge of zero trust architectures.
• Experience with service mesh and secure microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with classified or air-gapped environments.
• Experience with GitOps methodologies.

Job Description

The DevSecOps Engineer designs, implements, and sustains secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments. This role integrates security controls directly into DevOps workflows, enabling continuous compliance, monitoring, and resilient system operations. The engineer partners closely with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to support secure platform migrations, enforce hardened configurations, and ensure system integrity within classified and mission-critical environments.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerized platforms, and CI/CD automation, along with a deep understanding of security frameworks such as RMF, NIST 800-53, and STIGs. An active TS/SCI clearance is required, and experience supporting enclave-based or air-gapped systems is highly valued.
