Insight Global is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to sit in Arlington, VA. This individual will support the design, development, modernization, and maintenance of mission-critical applications and infrastructure in a highly secure environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep full-stack expertise across front-end development, API development, database technologies, cloud platforms, and DevSecOps practices. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, drive modernization initiatives, automate deployments, improve system reliability, and support enterprise-level applications utilizing modern cloud and infrastructure technologies. Candidates who enjoy working across the entire software development lifecycle and contributing to both application and infrastructure engineering will thrive in this position.

Compensation:$72/hr to $80/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Active TS clearance and SCI eligibility with ability to obtain and maintain a CI PolyBS degree and 8+ years of Information Technology experienceFull-stack development experience across front-end, back-end, and database layersExperience with Java, JavaScript, Python, and Spring BootStrong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive UI developmentExperience developing APIs, server-side business logic, and database integrationsHands-on experience in at least three of the following: Oracle, SQL Server, Java, Engineered systems, Cloud technologies, Data integration, Automated testing and deployments, DevSecOpsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practicesExperience with JavaScript, GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible Automation, Java, PSQL/SQL, YAML, and TerraformExperience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management4+ years of experience with: Ansible, Terraform, Jmeter, AWS EC2, AWS ELB, AWS RDS, AWS Lambda, DockerAbility to work effectively in Agile environments and collaborate across cross-functional teamsPrior experience supporting DISAExperience supporting DISA mission partnersModern cloud modernization and database architecture experienceStrong DevSecOps and infrastructure automation background
