Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Practitioner to join our Springfield, VA team. The role centers on leading TSCM operations, risk assessments, and compliance with national and DoD standards.

You will analyze complex security issues, develop corrective actions, and produce detailed reports and briefings for government sponsors. Requires active TSCM certification and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active TSCM Certification required (ITC)
• 2+ years in technical security or documentation
• Ability to attain DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II within 1 year
• Bachelor’s or post-graduate degree in a technical field preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute TSCM, Foreign Visit, Gift Inspection, Digital Counterexploitation, and Technical Evaluation activities.
• Ensure operations, reporting, and training comply with national/agency policies and TSCM program requirements.
• Prepare technical risk assessments, TSCM reports of inquiry, and tailored briefings.
• Analyze physical and technical security issues to meet ICD 705 SCIF and DoD standards for collateral areas.
• Identify security deficiencies and develop cost-effective corrective actions.
• Conduct RF searches and evaluate processing equipment for vulnerabilities.
• Prepare correspondence, briefing materials, and threat reports per customer guidelines.
