Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum TSA SPP training-management experience.
• Current or prior STI qualification.
• Experience with TSO/STSO or other TSA screening.
• Formal instructor-development or adult-learning certification.
• Experience with TSA training systems and screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the airport TSA screening training program and oversee Training Instructors (STIs) and coaches.
• Coordinate new-hire, recurrent, remedial, return-to-duty, and specialized training.
• Track training, certification, OJT, and compliance requirements with records.
• Partner with TSA training personnel and Culmen operations leadership to align training with needs.
• Ensure training aligns with TSA SOPs, directives, and national requirements.
• Analyze performance to identify gaps and develop corrective training.
• Monitor instructor performance and ensure consistent delivery across shifts.
• Integrate training requirements with staffing to minimize impacts on operations.
• Provide management with training metrics, status, risks, and improvement recommendations.

As a Training Manager, you will lead the airport’s screening training program and oversee Security Training Instructors (STIs), Assistant Training Instructors (ATIs), OJT coaches, and the processes that support effective training delivery. You will help ensure screening personnel successfully complete required training, certification, recurrent training, remediation, and professional development while supporting the operational needs of a dynamic airport environment.

• Provide management with training metrics, compliance status, risks, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Prior TSA SPP training-management experience.

• Current or prior STI qualification.

• Prior TSO/STSO or other TSA screening experience.

• Formal instructor-development or adult-learning certification.

• Experience with TSA training systems and screening certification requirements.
