Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of risk analysis/enterprise risk management experience.
• Experience supporting Federal agencies or government programs.
• Ability to lead analytical tasks with minimal oversight.
• Strong written and verbal communication and governance/documentation skills.

What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Senior Risk Analyst to Sr. Risk Management Analyst provides advanced analytical, advisory, and documentation support for enterprise-level risk management activities. This role leads complex risk assessments, drives risk documentation and reporting processes, and supports governance bodies and cross-functional teams. This role is ideal for an experienced risk practitioner with strong research, analysis, communication, and structured documentation skills, capable of working within a high-visibility, regulated, and process-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advanced Risk Analysis Conduct comprehensive qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, including root-cause analysis and evaluation of likelihood, impact, and interdependencies. Support the refinement, maturation, and implementation of enterprise risk management practices, tools, and analytical approaches. Develop, elevate, or de-escalate risks based on structured analysis and stakeholder input. Lead interviews with subject matter experts to validate risk data and inform risk assessments.
• Risk Reporting & Documentation Develop, maintain, and update risk registers, KRIs, performance indicators, and related risk documentation. Prepare high-quality analytical reports, recommendations, decision briefs, and supporting materials for internal leadership and governance groups. Produce materials for recurring and ad hoc risk reviews, working sessions, and program reports. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and clarity of all documentation in alignment with established standards and review processes.
• Program & Governance Support Provide analytical support to governance bodies, including preparing meeting materials, synthesizing inputs, capturing action items, and ensuring follow-through. Monitor status of assigned tasks, milestones, corrective actions, and deliverables. Support integration of risk information into enterprise planning, performance, and decision-making processes.
• Continuous Improvement Identify improvements to risk processes, tools, documentation workflows, and reporting mechanisms. Contribute to the development and refinement of enterprise frameworks and methodologies. Support alignment of risk activities with larger organizational processes and performance structures.

What You Will Need:

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree FIVE (5) or more years of experience in risk analysis, enterprise risk management, or related analytical roles.
• Experience must include: Supporting Federal agencies or government programs. Demonstrated ability to lead analytical tasks with limited oversight. Understanding of risk frameworks, performance measurement concepts, or structured program governance. Experience developing structured, narrative, executive-ready deliverables. Experience operating in environments with formal governance, documentation, and quality standards.

• Advanced degree
• Risk-related certifications (e.g., CRMA, CIA, CRM) are preferred, not required, and candidates exceeding typical experience levels remain fully acceptable.
• Strong communication skills, especially in preparing clear, concise, professional written materials.
• Familiarity with enterprise risk frameworks and performance metrics.
