Job summary

Big Impact Tech (BIT) is seeking a software professional for a full-time role in the Chantilly area. The candidate will research, design, and modify software systems and collaborate with analysts, UI/UX specialists, and SMEs to capture requirements.

The position requires a TS/SCI with Poly clearance and experience with C#.NET, Bootstrap, and AWS cloud services. Responsibilities include coding, testing, estimating costs, adhering to change control, and contributing to training materials.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of web development experience.
• Proficient in C#.NET and Bootstrap.
• Experience employing AWS cloud services to create cloud-native applications.
• Knowledge of web development principles, techniques, languages, and conventions.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
• Ability to manage multiple priority tasks.
• Self-motivated task identification.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop and/or modify software systems (e.g., custom, COTS, GOTS).
• Collaborate with business analysts, UI/UX developers, and SMEs to understand requirements.
• Develop cost estimates for software development and enhancements; conduct impact analysis for changes.
• Adhere to program configuration change control standards.
• Present ideas for system improvements.
