Job summary

Probity in Chantilly, VA is seeking a software engineer with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph to design, develop, and integrate advanced search and AI-powered capabilities.

You will participate in Lean-Agile scrums, collaborate with security, operations, and engineering teams, and build SPAs with React, RESTful APIs with Node.js, and Elasticsearch-powered search/RAG pipelines.

Qualifications

• Lean Agile development experience in a modern product team.
• Experience building or integrating LLM-based solutions (RAG/semantic search).
• Translating customer and system requirements into design artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Lean Agile scrums, sprints and grooming sessions.
• Collaborate with security, operations, engineering, testing teams.
• Design, develop and modify software systems.
• Document and track vendor software roadmaps and patches.
• Unit test code and ensure quality across implementations.
• Design and implement scalable search and retrieval via Elasticsearch.
• Develop and integrate LLM-powered capabilities including RAG pipelines.
