Job summary

Leidos is seeking a highly motivated Special Security Officer (SSO) to support ACC Wing SCI security programs at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. You will manage SCI personnel, physical, and information security, coordinate with DNI/DIA/USAF directives, and oversee SCIF accreditation and access control.

This role requires a TS/SCI clearance, a relevant degree with years of experience, and the ability to work independently in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience or Associate’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4 years experience working with SCI in all security disciplines (personnel, physical, information, and basic information assurance).
• Knowledge of ICD 704/705 and DoDM 5105.21 (V1–V3) and DNI/DIA/USAF directives/regulations.
• Ability to gather facts, analyze, plan, decide, and solve security problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full range of SCI security duties and assignments in support of ACC Wing SCI security programs.
• Assist in daily operations of the Special Security Office and admin SCI security program.
• Provide expert SCI security guidance to local and tenant SCIFs.
• Interpret directives from DNI, DIA, and DoD; provide technical advice on SCI personnel, physical, and information security standards.
• Certify and process SCI visitor clearances/accesses; manage DISS entries.
• Ensure SCIFs comply with ICD 705 and related policies; prepare accreditation paperwork.
