Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking candidates for a security-focused role in Warrenton, VA. Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required, as is U.S. citizenship. The position includes escorting personnel on site and reporting safety, security, and facility issues.

The role requires the ability to stand or walk long distances, work in industrial environments, and wear PPE as needed. A HS diploma or GED and at least two years of related experience are typical qualifications.

Qualifications

• Two years of education and related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Current Fluor employees may be considered for this position sooner or later, depending on performance and job availability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and escort uncleared persons at the facility.
• Provide verbal and written reports regarding safety, security, facility, or personnel issues/incidents.
• Maintain visual contact and proper line of sight with uncleared personnel at all times.
• Respond professionally and courteously to all personnel.
• Remain alert and awake at all times to provide appropriate security monitoring of escorted individuals.
• Work around active construction areas and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Work in industrial locations (mechanical and electrical rooms, etc).
• Properly sanitize areas prior to escorting uncleared personnel into designated work areas.
• Walk long distances, climb stairs (including stepladders, etc.), sit/stand for long periods.
• Wear appropriate work attire which may include a company provided dress uniform. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
