Koniag IT Systems, LLC is seeking an SAP Special Security Officer in Washington, DC. The role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and experience with Special Access Programs.

You will help implement and manage security protocols for classified information, supporting a federal contracting environment. The position emphasizes policy development, training, audits, and incident response, with a focus on compliance with NISPOM and related directives.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required or ability to obtain
• 3–5 years in development of SAPs or related security field
• Experience handling classified information and SAPs
• Knowledge of government security regulations (NISPOM)

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing security policies and procedures.
• Conduct security briefings and training for personnel accessing classified information and SAPs.
• Manage security database, including access control records and document handling.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with government security regulations.
• Participate in security audits, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in incident response and reporting of security breaches.
• Provide guidance to security staff on security-related matters.
• Stay updated on changes in security regulations and best practices.
