Job summary

CTC Group is seeking cleared Russian linguists to support mission-focused language requirements across military, cyber, science and technology domains. The role requires translating Russian into precise English and vice versa, with interpretation and extensive editing tasks.

Applicants should hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and a bachelor's degree (master's preferred). A minimum of 3 years of translation or interpretation experience is required, with ICA test results as specified.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree desired.
• Minimum of 3 years translation/interpretation experience, or recently completed Master's in Translation/Interpretation.
• ICA Testing: Translation Assessment 4 in Russian; SLR 5/5/5 in Russian.
• Experience with translation into English and into Russian; interpretation.
• Excellent English-language skills with precise translations.
• Experience with editing, quality control, summarizing/gisting, HLT, targeting, and workflow support.
• Subject matter experience includes counter-proliferation, counterterrorism, cyber, geospatial, military, regional politics, science and technology.

Responsibilities

• Translate Russian materials into precise English.
• Translate materials from English into Russian.
• Perform oral interpretation on technical and mission topics.
• Perform long and complex translations involving military, cyber, science and technology terminology.
• Support summarization, editing, quality control, targeting, workflow, and other translation-related services.
