Job summary

Quevera in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a Python API Developer to design, build, and sustain scalable APIs in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. You will deploy AI/ML-enabled services in AWS and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable applications.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent SWE experience, Python REST frameworks, and strong problem-solving. A current TS/SCI with poly clearance is required to apply for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 4 years SWE experience may substitute for a degree.
• Knowledge of Python in FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST.
• Experience designing, building, and scaling production APIs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable, secure Python-based APIs.
• Integrate AI/ML models and pipelines into mission applications.
• Deploy, optimize, and monitor solutions using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, data, and DevSecOps teams.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following Quevera engineering practices.
• Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement within agile sprint cycles.
