Job summary

A defense contracting company is seeking a Network Engineer with a minimum of 16 years of experience. The role requires a Top Secret clearance and expertise in cloud services including AWS and Azure. Responsibilities involve configuration of network gear, building out VPCs with Linux VMs, and providing troubleshooting support as needed. Qualifications

• Position requires Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with a Polygraph.
• Must have a minimum of 16 years’ experience in Network Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security standards.

Responsibilities

• Buildout of VPCs with Linux VMs as network appliances.
• Configuration of network gear to meet security standards.
• Call-in support to resolve issues after hours.

Skills

Experience with commercial cloud service providers (Google Cloud, Azure, AWS)

Expertise in configuring and hardening Linux OS

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently

Experience with commercial VPNs

Experience with firewalls, switches, routers

Education

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in relevant disciplines
