Job summary

B4Corp in Sterling, VA, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to work on a government-focused program. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and offers compensation up to $245,000 per year with standard core hours 9am–4pm.

Responsibilities include supporting network and enterprise computing infrastructure, cloud and on-premises deployments, and secure configuration of VPNs, firewalls, and network gear. On-call support after hours may be required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 16 years’ experience in network engineering.
Experience with commercial cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) building VPCs with Linux VMs and securing them.
Experience configuring and hardening Linux OS in cloud and physical environments.
Experience configuring and hardening network gear including firewalls, switches, routers, IPS.
Experience with commercial VPNs.
Experience with commercial messaging applications and Android tablet devices.
Ability to work independently and provide after-hours call-in support.

Responsibilities

Deliver network infrastructure and enterprise computing services for complex programs.
Work with containerized solutions and orchestrated workflows across environments.
Support both on-premises and remote Cloud services.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues after hours and on weekends.
