Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Nosql Database Engineer to join the platform engineering team in Bethesda, MD. You will deploy, maintain, and optimize production databases like Elasticsearch and Redis as core elements of our microservice ecosystem.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance and deep Kubernetes experience, with a focus on GitOps and secure, scalable operations. You will collaborate with systems engineers and developers across Agile sprints, contributing to design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience; Master’s with 6+ years acceptable.
• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain Polygraph.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms (EKS, Rancher, RKE2).

Responsibilities

• Deploy, triage, debug, and maintain production databases like Elasticsearch and Redis.
• Design and support database configuration management across air-gapped networks.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers to architect new capabilities.
• Contribute to monitoring and proactive system notifications.
