Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Network Support Specialist to support a mission-critical federal program in Springfield, VA. The role requires active Top Secret with SCI eligibility and hands-on expertise in network operations.

Responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting network devices, monitoring performance, and maintaining secure LAN/WAN environments. Eligible candidates must meet clearance requirements and bring Tier 2 troubleshooting experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in network administration/operations or related field.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN.
• Experience working with electronic security devices (IDS, Access Control, CCTV, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices
• Handle Tier 2 issues and perform troubleshooting
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies
• Perform packet captures, analyze firewall logs, and resolve network issues using diagnostic tools
• Manage and secure LAN/WAN environments
