Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Network Administrator II to support our customer located at Creech AFB, Indian Springs Nevada. With limited supervision, the role involves network/system administration and help desk tasks for a designated contract.

Responsibilities include LAN/WAN design, installation, maintenance, monitoring, security management and remote user support. DoD IA and Security+ certifications are required; TS/SCI clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical discipline with 3 years related experience.
• DoD 8570.01-M IA Certification.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
• Valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supports design, installation, maintenance and support of LAN/WAN in a multi-protocol LAN/WAN environment.
• Performs configuration, monitoring and analysis of data processing equipment, databases and video systems.
• Installs and upgrades operating systems in a LAN/WAN client/server environment.
• Provides Help Desk support for LAN/WAN hardware and software.
• Maintains connectivity using TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, NDS, NT Domain strategies.
• Manages security requirements through routers, firewalls and tools.
